started reading mob psycho 100

i actually watched the first 2 seasons of mob psycho like years ago but then i never finished watching the last season so im starting it back up again but with the manga this time and then ill watch the anime 💀

ok but i forgot how good mp100 actually is omg. i already read the entire first volume in one night. man its actually so good already. its genuinely funny too. 

mob (the protag obviously) is such a good and relatable character. hes such a kind kid who just wants to ask out the girl that he likes. and even tho he has super psychic powers, he still works hard everyday to become a better person

finished ouran high school host club

kiss kiss fall in love! i just finished ouran high school host club and im a bit conflicted abt it. the show definitely has that nostalgic 2000s childhood anime tv show vibe to it so it has that going for it. the characters are pretty likeable for the most part. and the show is genuinely really funny at times.

but for some reason i feel like its missing something idk. i think some of the characters (like the hitachiin twins) get way too much screentime compared to the other characters like honey, mori, and maybe even kyoya and tamaki i feel like got less development than the twins. Mori and honey literally only got like 2 episodes dedicated to them 😭actually mori only got like 1 and the show even made a 4th-wall breaking joke that he gets like 0 screentime in an episode that was supposed to be centered around him but the episode didnt even do that 💀they centered it on his "rival" u cannot be srs bro 😭also theres some jokes in this show that did not age well at all

anyways the ending felt a bit rushed to me. although it had some good moments and emotional beats, it didnt really feel like a series ending yknow it felt more like a season finale. and also haruhi (the main protag) and tamaki's relationship was barely developed which disappointed me because i thought they were so cute together ong.

which reminds me i love tamaki my cringe-core loser. hes so corny. he lowkey a little bit misogynistic at times but thats ok i can fix him. corny loser who deep inside feels like hes a burden to everyone and has trouble being vulnerable yeah thats my goat tamaki 

and cant forget abt our main girl haruhi. she truly is the most gnc girl of all time. the most normal and not insane one of the group. the absolute goat of standing up for whats right and doesnt care abt what anyone thinks. love you my girl boy prince thing

still feeling a bit conflicted abt this show. i like it but also dont like it at the same time. its goofy and silly tho. charming little show abt unlikely people becoming friends, and friendship, and being the true version of urself, and showing ur emotions!
