Today's song of the day is Ichigoichie from Kare Kano! dudeee this song,,, makes me feel so nostalgic. kare kano in general makes me feel so nostalgic. idk why but everytime i watch a slice of life asian media i feel so nostalgic. i think its cuz of the setting. i miss the korean streets and scenery.
i love the crescendoing part at 0:55 so much. it feels like an escalation of emotions until it reaches its apogee.
kare kano is so good brou oh my goud,,, the only problem i have is the dialogue. is sometimes very monologue-y. a lot of telling and not showing. especially for the emotional moments. all the characters just have an extremely long monologue explaining all their problems and it just feels kinda lame.
but other than that kare kano is so good. it avoids a lot of cliches. and the characters are all so real.
but its lowkey been going downhill since like episode 14. bruh ep 14 has 0 dialogue or anything new. its just a recap episode. and the art has also been downgrading cuz they just keep using real photos instead of drawings.
