gotta do a class project in stem design class and got paired up with some random guy and i thought we werent gonna get along but we actually did we talked the entire class and actually got to know each other and talk abt interesting things. literally top 5 moments of 2025.

mama loves the poyopoyo-saurus

my friend just showed me this really cool anime called mama loves the poyopoyo-saurus and it looks really cool. its so cool. woww. 

its abt this young mom and dad trying to raise their little devil evil annoying children. its a very slice of lifey anime and the joys and wonders and also horrors of raising your own kids :)

ok but anyways the thing that most interested me is the art oh my goudd this show looks gorgeous i cant lie. look

this artstyle is sooo gouud. omg its such eye candy to me. goudd the colors woww.... i put this anime immediately on my watchlist. this looks so good. i literally watch anything that has a cool artstyle i dont even gaf if the story is good or not.

anj chapter 51

in regards to my last post, i am insane abt anj again.

so im gonna talk abt one of my fav scenes in the entirety of ashita no joe. chapter 51 of anj. peak. 

this scene makes me feel soooo sad... but happy at the same time. this is like the first time joe isnt surrounded by violence or people who just hate him. hes surrounded by people all being happy. happy that he's back. everyone's gathered around all in celebration of him. its soo..... omg.... and the "radiant happiness" part is so good. its such a perfect way to describe the joy that joe is feeling. the feeling of belonging and being loved.

and this panel destroys me everytime i see it. good lord. everytime theres a scene in a movie/show/book or whatever where a character is shown crying silently in their sleep i explode. joe crying to himself at sleep because this was the first time he was shown love. joe has only experienced violence in his life so he doesnt know how to respond to love ong... 💔💔he doesn't know it's ok to be vulnerable because his entire life he had to act tough in order to just survive. 😞

i love it when anj has heartfelt moments like this. joe is such a relatable character even though he's just some homeless kid from 1960's japan. i feel like everyone has had a moment like this where you cry quietly at night because you dont want to be seen as vulnerable 💔

anj ending

tbh i still think ashita no joe has the most perfect/best ending in all of manga (admittedly i have read very few manga 💀) but still i dont think ill ever read another story like anj ever again

u cannot deny the fact that the anj ending is literally perfect. its such a perfect blend of satisfaction, bittersweetness, and ambiguity. genuinely insane. the satisfaction from joe's own desire to die in the ring and having his life fulfilled, the bittersweetness from how hard joe fought and how he lost at the end yet his passion had paid off, and the ambiguity at the very end with joe on the chair, smiling yet motionless, signaling to readers that this is the last we will ever see of joe. plus giving the readers a nuanced question of is following your passion till the very end really the way to live?

oh my goud bro it was so peak not to mention the buildup to it too. with that final confrontation with joe and yoko. yoko begging joe not to get in the ring but joe will stick to his passion till the very end. oh my goud bro i forgot how much i love anj man. you will always be famous joe yabuki

my pet peeves

 gonna make a list of all my pet peeves cuz im a hater.

1. people with big backpacks.

i hate people with big backpacks bro what do u even be carrying inside ur bag for it to be that huge. big backpacks are so annoying and gets in the way. and these ppl dont even be moving their fat backpacks out of the way for people either whenever someone is trying to walk across. 

2. loud people / people who never shut up

loud people are the bane of my existence. they never shut up and are annoying and half the time they just be saying things and its not even funny. theres always that one kid in class who comments abt literally everything and 90% of the time its just random stuff and isnt even funny. i dont get what theyre even trying to achieve here. are they just programmed to never shut up. and loud people i just hate them.

i love this channel

Yesterday I was scrolling on youtube just watching random videos and then I see this video titled The Scientific Consequences of RIO (2011). 

if u guys didnt know im actually a huge rio fan. i am the biggest fan of this movie i swear. i love this freaking movie i rewatched it so many times as a kid. i love rio and i could write an entire paragraph on why i love it so much and why its one of the most goated kids movies of all time. but anyways cuz i love rio i clicked on this vid.

and i loved it i learned some new things abt birds. i love it when ppl talk abt the most randomest things ever just because it interests them. i love this person's voice and their goofy little birdsona. also like their humor and editing style. i usually hate it when ppl try to edit in like some silly meme like every 3 seconds because it can be distracting but this person does it well since its mostly just visual gags that go in line with their humor.

and then after this video i went searching on their channel and watched this 2 hour long king candy wreck it ralph character analysis video. bro i sit through this entire thing. i watched this 2 hours straight on my bed last night. it was so entertaining for some reason. I love these types of video essays where theyre not boring as hell and just full of passion talking abt the thing that they love with some of their humor dabbled in as well. this vid lowkey inspires me cuz like it shows u u dont need to be coherent or say things that go well together. just talk abt the thing that u like and it will be good. anyways this vid was so entertaining i need randomalistic to drop another video essay type video pls.

Today's song of the day is Just the Two of Us by Grover Washington Jr! this song is so good. i remember listening to this on an airplane for like 10 hrs straight while i tried to sleep. this song is so hypnotizing. i love that synthesizer part so much.

The Giving Tree

Just watched this video and wow its so interesting. I remember reading the Giving Tree but didnt think too much of it because i was a stupid child who likes watching keys jangle. but yknow now that im grown this book is so interesting wow... i actually felt so sad rereading the story. 

I think my interpretation of this story is about motherhood. and how mothers give so much and receive so little in return for their children but still they remain happy because there is a notion that mothers should only care about their children. The tree is happy in the end because the boy is the only thing that matters to her. much like how mothers in real life do not get to have hobbies, or pursue their passions, or give up their passions because they have to take care of their children. this book is so sad now that I see it

also i cant believe solar sands evolved from making fun of random kids' art on deviantart to making 30-60 minute long video essays about different forms of art. I used to watch him make fun of 12 year olds ocs 💀

Today's song of the day is Fallin' Love, and from the mother soundtrack yay! i love this song the orchestra goes crazy. the parts at 3:27 and 4:05 is soo romantic. and i love it when the song nears towards the end and all the instruments just melt together. sounds like drowning and getting intoxicated in love. def my fav song on the soundtrack
