been playing on my nintendo switch again. yes i miss being a kid. and yes i am playing a 7 almost 8 year old game. kirby star allies!!!!1

also i need to hop back on my animal crossing new horizons island again bro but i genuinely forgot how to play. im so confused by everything.

daily thoughts 11/14/25

today was so freaking awesome!!!

went on a field trip with my friend and it was so fun like actually. i missed going on field trips so much. 

went to museums and went shopping and eating but unfortunately me and my friend didnt get to buy anything cuz we ran out of time :( other than that it was actually so peak

i dont remember exactly what the meaning was but ill try my best

this one was abt an artist experiencing 9/11 and seeing all the destruction
and pain of other people. and then i cant recall everything but they had an almost
near death experience and everything was horrifying to them. and this piece
is a reflection of that. i love it a lot. it feels so violent with all the blood-stain-like colors
and the way they twisted the cloth almost looks like organs and the two (cross-hatching?? strip thingies) that go across the artwork feels like theyre trying to heal all the pain but cant. also like how it looks like a window kinda and ur like seeing through the artist's past

this one had no artist statement just a title. the title was a painting of hope and spirit for the haitian people. the us is currently in control of haiti right now and the people have no freedom. and this art is (probably) a response to that. a painting of hope and spirit for the haitian people, no description required. the black and white bricks are all set horizontally showing how life feels bleak. but then there are those weird formations placed in random spots that arent static like the black and white behind them. they are protruding and more colorful. even tho the black and white bricks make up 80% of the art, its those colorful formations that are the most popping. hope always exists in the worst of times

tbh now that im older, i like abstract art a lot more than like detailed paintings. idk not to say detailed paintings are not good or anything but abstract art is a lot more fun to analyze for me. and create my own interpretation
