Today's song of the day is THE FUTURE IS NOW by Poison Girl Friend! intro so heavenly it made me shed a tear. the synth so good. the melody so good. the ambience so good. that transition at 2:30 woawowaoaw.

 woah... so interesting it had me reading it like this 

i usually do not care for romance at all but the heart of thomas was so good. i only like romances when it focuses on the psychological aspect of a relationship rather than yknow like fluffy wholesome stuff where nothing bad ever happens. 

heart of thomas was crazy. its abt this boy named thomas werner who kills himself because he got rejected by another boy named juli. and juli is now faced with guilt and cant get thomas werner out of his head. and along the story he meets a new boy named eric who looks exactly like thomas 💀 so now he got this conflict. anyways juli has a lot of trauma and other things that happened to him besides thomas dying and eric shows him how to love again and yeah. 

i loved itt. i felt so bad for juli like no it wasnt ur fault that you got abused by some other students because you willingly accepted their invite to a "tea party." juli unlearning shame and guilt and learning how to open up again and love others was so nice to see. 

i like the biblical allegories that show juli's shame and guily. like him thinking that it was his fault that he got abused so he's like i made a deal with the devil its my fault that i lost my wings and i can never go into heaven. 

eric was such a vibe. hes optimistic and open-minded despite losing people. he will always have love to share isnt that so beautiful guys

also there was an extra story included in the manga thats just more abt eric and his family and relationships it was sweet. i like that it was drawn like an actual storybook.

Today's song of the day is Technopolis by YMO! omg i love this song. i used to think this album was just mid but i relistened to it the other day and its pretty good not my fav of ymo's but still good. that bass at the beginning so good. and i love the T-E-C-H-N-O-P-O-L-I-S tokyo tokyo part lol

Today's song of the day is Julia by The Beatles! this song is so calming and beautiful. i think this was/is one of my fav beatles songs ever. makes me feel sad and nostalgic. i forgot how crazy white album is cuz the next song on the list is birthday one of the most mid beatles songs ever and it also got shit like revolution 9 on it as well.

(long ass title) anyways omgg i was thinking abt shonentai again. i miss thinking abt them. my uncles. i havent posted a shonentai song in forever i missed them so bad. i was thinking today abt how influential shonentai was to modern day kpop and jpop and other idol groups. lowkey paved the way

btw this song is a cover of the blow monkeys' it doesnt have to be this way. i love the intro of this and the violins. this ver is better but i like the chorus in shonentai's ver more

also happy may its been so hot lately. time to post my summer songs!
